eFiling (Electronic Case Filing) – Civil/Criminal Cases

Kentucky attorneys may now file court documents in Jefferson County via eFiling without having to make a trip to a courthouse. Kentucky state courts offer electronic case filing for civil and criminal cases in Circuit Court and District Court statewide.

Attorneys must complete training and become certified before they are able to file cases electronically in Kentucky. The Administrative Office of the Courts provides on-site and online opportunities for attorneys to complete eFiling training and certification.
